This blog is based on one of my greatest interests in life; which are fashion and books. Fashion is an on going cycle; it goes round in circles because most of the things that are in vogue now are the fashion styles that were in vogue plenty of years ago. Here I will take you through the different types of fashion that we have and how fashion is something that alters as the seasons alters. In Summer people wear clothes that shows a huge amount of skin. For example females tend to wear clothes like shorts, belly tops, maxi dresses, maxi skirts, play suits, summer skirts and summer dress. However, in terms of winter a large number of females wear jeans, causal trousers, jumpers and boots. The trickiest season to dress for Autumn and spring because the weather is not too cold and not too warm but the most common item of clothing to wear in this season for females are cardigans.
Women’s fashion changes in terms of the individual because it depends on the age, culture and class. I am a Nigerian girl and in my culture we have a type of material called ‘Ankara’ ; this is what we use to design different outfits to represent our culture. Another type of material we use is ‘lace’ and this is used strictly to design a top and wrapper for women and a top and trousers for men. Attending a number of African parties and weddings, I have noticed that most couples wear the same material; I believe it is a way of them showing they are an item.
I have decided to focus closely on different fashion designers, the alteration of fashion along with the seasons and the age of females in relation to the type of clothes they wear. Culture is another one of my main focus because it is amazing to see what people from different cultures wear and how most of their clothes are made.
Hairstyles is another aspect of fashion I will be paying close attention to because it is intriguing to discover the different sort of hairstyles women like doing.
I absolutely love reading novels, non-fiction, fiction, motivational books the whole thing.I have always enjoyed reading because it enables me to tap into a different world and it also puts my mind at peace. This is my book collection where I have books from different authors, I think the reason I am so in love with books is the simple fact that I believe there is always something you can always learn from every book.
Another one of my greatest books is the Holy Bible. I am a christian and through reading the word of God I am able to understand that right way to live my life and become familiar with different stories that the Bible contains. I see the word of God as Basic instructions before leaving earth and it makes me feel very at peace when I read the Bible. Just like most books, I learn so much from the Bible but the difference is that I try to follow every aspect of the word of God and I feel that I will be living a good life if I follow the way in which the bible tells me how to live my life.
